About Vic Williams

I was born in Whittier, California in 1963 as the youngest of three children. As a child, I developed a knack for doing odd jobs around the neighborhood and selling trinkets door to door and at swap-meets. This fostered within me a sense of self reliance, a commitment to hard work, and a strong sense of dedication to accomplish whatever task lay before me.

Vic Williams

After High School I went to work in my family's motorcycle parts business. At twenty three, I set out to build my own business. At first I supported myself by working nights unloading trucks for a local grocery company while attending the local community college to develop my business management skills. At twenty six, I went to work in the material handling industry and learned industrial engineering for warehousing systems. I founded my own company 2 years later.

I built and operated that company, Racksource, from 1990 until I sold it in 2003. I'm proud to have provided all my employees with high-paying jobs and health benefits. My success in business afforded me the privilege to give back to the community which supported my success through charitable works. I gave my time and support to the Whittier Rotary Club, the Rio Hondo Chapter of the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and the local Boys and Girls Club.

As my community involvement grew and developed, I was drawn to volunteer my time and support for the Republican Party. I started as an enthusiastic grassroots volunteer. I answered phones and walked precincts for my Party and for our candidates. In 2005, I was invited to become the Pima County GOP's Get Out The Vote Chairman, and in 2006 I was honored to be elected as the Pima County Party's Treasurer. I currently serve as the Vice Chairman for Legislative District 26 and as an elected state committeeman.

I firmly believe that community involvement and local service are the solution to many of our problems, and I would be deeply honored if the citizens of LD 26 were to choose me to serve as their Representative to our State Legislature. I will bring to the job an aspiration to public service, the entrepreneurial attitude and work ethic of a successful businessman, and solid measure of common sense and conservative values. I ask for your support and your vote.
